HAND SURGERY<\/p>

CARPAL TUNNEL
Carpal tunnel is a very common neuropathy that affects the median nerve at the level of the wrist.
Manual work or repeated traumas can be the trigger for this inflammation.
The syndrome causes a series of disordes such as paraesthesia, tingling, loss of sensitivity, up to pain especially in the morning.
Symptoms occur in the palmar aspect of the first three fingers and part of the fourth finger.
The surgery allows to completely resolve the symptoms in a very short time, leaving only a scar of a few centimetres.<\/p>

DUPUYTREN
Dupuytren's disease is an inflammatory disease of the palmar aponeurosis.
Depending on the degree of the pathology, it can present as a simple nodule, up to real inextensible cords along the entire palm of the hand, which cause a progressive and permanent flexion of one or more fingers.
The operation allows to eliminate these fibrotic cords and restore the functionality of the hand.
The duration of the operation and the restoration of hand functionality are closely linked to the degree of the disease and its evolution.<\/p>

TRIGGER FINGER
Inflammatory pathology affecting the flexor tendons of the fingers which causes the appearance of nodules along their course and prevent them from sliding normally.
The finger remains locked in flexion and the patient is forced to help himself with the other hand to put the finger back in position.
